Welcome to the blog on Creating by the Book, I’m so happy you stopped by!
In this post I’d like to showcase some of the earring styles I return to again and again when making different collections. I hope you find something that catches your eye, and you can follow the links to add them to your wardrobe!

Emily

Emma

Emma is Emily’s trendier cousin, with a little more of a party vibe. These would be a perfect accessory to elevate a basic dress for a night out.
Butterfly Wing
I love the natural and slightly asymmetrical shape of these, especially when the pattern is also evocative of a butterfly as well. These are one of my largest styles but generally in more subtle colors and patterns.
Teardrop
The teardrop is a classic shape for a reason, they really let the color and/or pattern shine. I also love to add extra elements to teardrop pieces, like this fun metal charm.
Two and Three Tiers
These are complex, almost chandelier type earrings that look super elegant, especially the three tiers, while the two tiers are a bit more playful. These earrings have lots of movement and look great with a ball post or a hook.
Chloe
Hexagons make me think of bees and honeycomb, and I love the way these three stacked on top of each other look. The top one is a stud while the other two hang freely.
Hexagons
Like the Chloe, I love using hexagons in other ways. They're very popular as single studs, and the large hexagons are personal favorites of mine, so unique!
